Note: there is no parking near the cache so find a safe parking spot and have a little walk while thinking about writing. Why writing? Because you are in Maretha Maartens Street. I like this street because, as you'll note, the streets in LHP tend to be named after well-known South Africans of a more recent history. Unfortunately, many of them have little to do with Bloemfontein. Maretha, however, was born in Bloemfontein and studied here. She studied nursing but went on to write over 150 books, which have been translated into several languages. Her writings focused on biblical writing and the suffering of women and children in South Africa's former dispensation.
FTF Honours: Voëlhond and dolos
This is a cache placed as part of the Bombastic Bloem Braai. An attempt to attract cachers to Bloemfontein by releasing 100 new caches on a day prior to a braai. Could there be anything more Bloemfontein?
