Gräpel is a small village in the north of Germany that belongs to the community of Estorf in Lower Saxony. It is located in the district of Stade, around 50 kilometres west of Hamburg. The surrounding area is rural, with many meadows, fields and forests. Gräpel is located directly on the Oste, a branch of the Elbe, giving the village an idyllic charm. There is a historic ferry that has been crossing the Oste for over 100 years. The region is particularly popular with cyclists and nature lovers.
