Dot Serfontein was one of the pioneers of the Afrikaans short story. Heiling from Kroonstad, she later wrote several novels situated in the city following her careers at Sarie and Die Volksblad. She married Willem Krog, a fellow writer. If the surname sounds more familiar it's because one of their 5 children is the more recently famed writer, Antjie Krog.
The cache is easy to find if you have a mirror and easy to retrieve if you have small pliers but without special tools, you may struggle.
