This cache honors one of Geocaching's foundational cachers, Ron Streeter. He started caching on 2/1/2001 and has slowed down, but hasn't stopped. As I recall he was in competition to be the local leader, finding his first 200 caches. Back in those days, caches were few and far apart, so the leader was big news in the Geocaching community. Anyway, one of the theme's that Ron Streeter had was a cache series called
Where's That Valet !
In some cases, his cache drew the attention of the law enforcement (vehicle recovery) and other times the vehicle (or what was remaining of the vehicle) remained.
With all that said, it's time to have another infamous Ron Streeter cache...
Where's That Valet ! (#5)
You're mission - should you choose to accept it, is to find the missing vehicle and do a forensic search before the police take it away. The cache is in plane sight, from the right vantage point. As you can imagine, there is no path to the scene. Due to the terrain, I wouldn't bring pet's of children to this cache and I'm rather sure it's not wheel chair accessible but let me know if I'm wrong.
