Edderacres is great little woodland for an explore! With lots of mossy forest floor and lots for a minibeast safari with your little team.
I suggest parking on High Grange Way in Wingate and dropping down to the Haswell to Hart footpath. Its about 10 mins walk to GZ from there. Just be careful crossing the main road with little ones or furries.
If you want a longer walk without the main road you can park beside the waste recycling center
