Event Description:
14 December 2025, 09:00 - 12:00
Join us at the CREW Flint Pen Strand from 9:00 AM to noon for a geocaching meet-and-greet breakfast, catered by The Unusual Suspects. This is a fun opportunity to connect with local cachers, swap stories, and learn the basics of geocaching if you’re new to the game.
Over 20 new caches will be revealed throughout the preserve’s scenic trail system—while the existing Panther GeoArt remains fully intact. The new caches will be published Saturday afternoon, allowing time to solve and download them in advance of the event.
Cachers are welcome to stay and explore after the gathering; trails remain open until dusk. (But beware—those who attempt to cache before the event may incur the wrath of the legendary Banana Butler!)
Local geocachers will be on hand to answer questions and help newcomers get started. Come enjoy breakfast, great company, and the beauty of one of Southwest Florida’s most remarkable preserves.
