Geocache Description:

7 June 2025, 17:00 - 21:00

223 Mondovi Drive, Oswego  (The blue ranch house)

Let's eat!

Crazy idea for a geocaching event, huh? Bring something to pass if you'd like to, or just graze on whatever you find on the tables. Make yourself a proper dinner and fill up on some good food! We'll be doing plenty of grilling and we plan to have lots of burgers, dogs, sausage, and stuff like that ready to go.

We always insist that you come hungry and leave stuffed! DON'T disappoint us!

Get Puzzled!

As many of you know, Carol is an avid jigsaw puzzle fan. The Oswego Public Library has an ongoing puzzle exchange, so Carol always has good stuff to work on and to share. We got into the act a few years ago with our own Little Free Library, which is mainly puzzle themed. We've been thrilled to see visitors almost every day during warm weather months! Feel free to stop by with puzzles to exchange or donate. It seems there are always more donated than taken, so don't be shy about grabbbing one or two, even if you don't have anything to trade. There are sure to be dozens of puzzles in the library and in the house/on the patio.

Other stuff

Another passion of Carol's is wine, so she'll have a little wine station set up for adults who want to enjoy a glass or two. (I know geocachers don't want to be adults, but we do have to have SOME rules!) Carol is all about dry reds, but she has some dry whites, and a little other variety, but feel free to bring a bottle to share!

Weather permitting, we can spend the day outside in the back yard. We'll have an outdoor game or 2 going. This is one of the longest days of the year, so feel free to hang around til it starts getting dark, and Carol will light a fire so we can sit around the big ol' fire pit and relax the night away. Feel free to stay as long as you'd like! When we say that, we really mean it!!  We've had guests stay til 1:00am, and we were thrilled! We get comments about how wonderful we are for sharing our home, but we don't see why that's a big deal. There's not much that we enjoy doing more!

I might be persuaded to talk about 3D printing if you twist my arm enough. I've upgraded my hardware, and now have 2 VERY nice printers to show off.

So remember, you don't have to bring any puzzles or a dish to pass in order to attend this event. Just come hungry and enjoy the great group of people who always show up!

We have quite a few chairs, but it might not be the worst idea to bring one for yourself, just in case.

We hope to share a nice evening with you!
