An event at Hi-Way 101 Diner in Sequim at 392 W. Washington St. for new and experienced cachers to pose questions and get answers from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you know someone who doesn't cache, yet, bring them along for an introduction to the game. We would like to help get them started with ideas of how far this expands our experiences every day.
Everyone comes up with a question at some time that they would like answered. We will have a variety of cachers on hand that will be able to answer all sorts of questions about geocaching in an informal setting. There will be folks there that are familiar with Garmin and Magellan GPSs; cache hiding and maintenance; solving mystery caches; hints for phone apps; swag and pathtag explanations and ideas; how to create easy and effective pocket queries; how to search for particular cache types that interest you; encouragement to get started in geocaching; and whatever else you can think of. We will try to have all that information available for you. If we can't figure it out in the amount of time alloted, at least we'll direct you to someone who can. The meeting room has wi-fi. We will have a couple of laptops available so we can illustrate examples for your questions.
