What: Community Celebration Event to celebrate Day after Valentines
Where: Bush Hwy, near the entrance of BullDog Trail.
When: Saturday February 15, 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
Will have some water and treats. Prepare for any kind of weather since this is Arizona and it is still winter. Bulldog Canyon trail has increase it's prices for 2025 for motorize vehicles but if you want to hike, bike or horseback from this starting point, this area is beautiful. If this is what you plan to do, please be prepared with proper attire and also bring enough water (even though it's still winter, need to stay hydrated.) I will have other things to do the closer we get to date, I will post in the logs.
There are several geocaches in the area to seek including Arizona's oldest cache you find. If you are going to look for those caches before or after the event, you do not need a permit if you are hiking from the road. However, if you decide to drive up the dirt road, it is recommended that you have a high clearance vehicle and you will need to purchase the bulldog Canyon permit from the Tonto national Forest for a fee in order to get the gate codes.
