Happy 25 years of Geocaching!
What better way to celebrate geocaching AND blue switch day than with an event!
Come join us at the Leslie Park (Cove creek park) for some great fun, lunch, caching, and of course wonderful company! This will be an outdoors event weather permitting.
We will start the day off at 10am with some visiting and ice breaker games.
Around 10:30 we will start a game of Geocaching G(j)eopardy! We will split into 2 ot 3 teams for this depending on the number in attendance.
The event will end with lunch probably around 12 depending on the games end time. You can bring a sack lunch if you like and I plan on bringing my grill and hotdogs as well as a cooler of waters. If you'd like to bring something specific to go with this holler at us and let us know!
AFTER THE EVENT:
After the event is finished up with lunch those that want to join will head down the road to hike the stem rock trail! You are not required to attend the hike but anyone that wants to is welcome. There are 3 caches at it we will grab. The hike itself is 1.5 miles round trip and easy terrain that leads to a rocky overlook, and an ammo can 😁
We hope to see everyone there! Also since this is all outdoors dogs are welcome since I know some of you guys cache with your furry friends.
