This event is to celebrate the friendships forged through our wonderful hobby/obsession/activity of geocaching.

Time: 6.00 pm to approx. 8.00 pm
It was at this location, exactly 11 years ago to the day, on Friday 1 August 2014, that I attended my first ever geocaching event. It was hosted by ahomburg and attended by many who are still in the game today. Here's a link to that event. It's Not about the Numbers... Or Is It?
It was also the night I met The Rustys (Melina) who has become one of my best friends. Over the years we've found thousands of caches together, attended events, mega's and cache crawls and gone on girl's trips and even a few family holidays together.
We are hosting this event together. So please feel free to come along with your caching friends. And if it's your first event, hopefully like us, you too will make lifelong friends!
We will be there from about 6PM to 8PM; feel free to drop in any time. If you get there earlier, beware the gates to the top close at 5PM. From the gate, it is only about 100m walk to GZ.
There will be hot drinks, a sausage sizzle and other snacks provided. There are picnic tables, toilets and a shelter if the weather goes pear-shaped. Everyone is welcome.
