If you are free, I’d love for you to join me to celebrate the festive season (be it Christmas, Hanukkah, the Winter Solstice, or just because you made it safely through another work week).
🕰️ When : Saturday 13th December (12pm- 2pm)
🗺️ Where : The Old Cross Tavern in Hertford 8 St. Andrew’s Street, Hertford ST14 1JA.
🔎 What: Festive chat, geocaching conversation, trackable swaps etc.
♿️ Access: The main entrance is up two steps, there is a side entrance on the flat but there are two steps to get into the main venue.
The Old Cross Tavern is an small, independently run, real ale pub and it sells a range of drinks both alcoholic and soft, no purchase is necessary but it would be good if you could join us for one or more 🍺.
The Old Cross Tavern is dog friendly 🐶 and has toilets available. It is a ‘wet led’ pub (i.e. they don’t serve food, but they have a range of crisps and bar snacks). Hertford has many restaurants if you want to grab some food afterwards.
👚 Christmas jumpers optional (I'll be wearing one of mine).
🎅🏻 🎄 Everyone is welcome 🎄 Hope to see you there. 🎄🎅🏻
How to get here:
🚙 There is a chargeable car park right opposite the venue (St. Andrew’s Street) and an alternative car park in Gascoyne way.
🚊 Hertford has two train stations both are a fair walk to the pub (10-15 minutes away.)
🚌 Hertford is served by busses and has a bus station.
🛶 you can always canoe down the River Lee Navigation if you’re feeling extra adventurous.
