Welcome to Mel & Ed's Excellent Community Celebration Event (CCE)!
This is our first CCE and we are happy to be a part of the
2025 events to celebrate 25 years of geocaching.
We are going to host our event in the basement meeting hall of the Cayuga Masonic Lodge.

From 12:00pm - 2:00pm
We will have refreshments including sweets n treats for all to enjoy.
Here is a list of some of the fun things we will have ready to go for this event:
***Geocaching HQ has sent us TWO "One year Free Premium Membership" Certificates to give away.
Everyone who Attends the event will be entered into the draw to win one of these certificates!***
PLUS:
- The first 20 geocachers will receive a commemorative trackable (new and not activated)
- The first 20 geocachers will receive a gift bag of freebie items
- There will be a draw for Three grab bags full of geo-swag that will include items to trade and some new trackables
- There will be a bin of freebie swag items for folks to take and/or trade what they wish to spread out into future Geocaches
- There will be a bin of containers for folks to take and/or trade and add to their geobag supplies or to hide future Geocaches
- There will be a fun selfie photobooth to take memorable photos and commemorate 25 years of Geocaching
- There will be a Trackable Trade table. Swap, Grab or Drop Trackables for others to enjoy
All draws will happen at 1:50pm. You don’t have to be here to win, if you are not able to be here at that time, we will contact you so you can pick up your prize at a later date.
Also happening on the same day near to the location of this event:
- We have hid some new geocaches in nearby locations that will go live on the day of this event. So you can have the joy of also trying to attain some FTF finds.
- We have also created a brand new Adventure Lab in Cayuga that will go live on Jan 11. It is a super easy one that will take less than half an hour. All the locations walkable from the same parking area.

PARKING
There is parking on the south side of the building off Munsee Street. The entrance door is on the opposite side of the building on the north side off Kerr Street. Please see the gallery images for further clarification
