Ease into the New Year 2025 Community Celebration
I have been excited for the chance to share the 2025 Community Celebration Event I was awarded, and thought for awhile about what to do. After pondering this a bit, I figured why not use it as soon as I can? Heck, I also figured holding it on this day may even let folks nab a souvenir or two!
As many of us might be tired from staying up late the night before, or from using the first day of the new year to get out there and geocache, this not-too-late, not-too-early event is supposed to help us all ease into the new year. This event will be held at the GameOn Bar + Arcade in the Merriweather District in Columbia. Come relax, and grab a drink or a bite to eat if you want (although no purchase necesary to attend). Of course if you would like, you can bring some quarters to play pinball or a number of other classic arcade games (I know I will be!) FYI, the venue is "all ages" until 8:00PM, so everyone is able to attend.
When: Wednesday January 1st, 4:00PM-6:00PM (FYI, the venue opens its doors at 4:00PM)
Where: GameOn Bar + Arcade Columbia, 6000 Merriweather Drive, Suite B120, Columbia, MD 21044. Most games are 50 cents to $1 to play, FYI.
I will be wearing a green geocaching-related shirt (so you know who to look for). Hope to see you there!
