Join fellow geocachers at a potluck and enjoy the Wood Duck series on the Stringy Lakes in Oxford. Please bring a dish to pass as dinner will begin around 6pm. There is no refrigeration available on site but there is a bathroom and electricity. Plates, silverware and drinks will be provided.
Limited watercraft will be available for cache access but you can launch your small watercraft (kayak, canoe, paddleboard) from the location. The event is being held in a pavillion so it will happen rain or shine. FTF's will be available for all attendees.
EXTRA!!! Want to come early and enjoy the lake? You can join in anytime that day for a beach access at my association park.
Located at N 42° 49.290′ W 83° 17.389′, listed in waypoints also, you can access the lake with your small craft, have a swim at the beach or park your car and ride to the nearby Polly Ann Trail to get the OCPAT Power Trail caches. Please let me know if you'll be coming early with watercraft so I can unlock the gate for closer lake access.
Many thanks to Lakepointe Church for allowing us to use their facilities.
