After finding my 50th cache here at the Chehalis River Discovery Trail, it was finally time to return the favor!

You'll find this cache where the two roads diverge in the woods, but there's one more road that's even less travelled... Look for this container hanging around, but perhaps not at the height that you'd expect!
Visiting both the north and south ends of the trail in a single day will take you a little over 2 miles, but with plenty of wildlife and beautiful scenery it's well worth the trip, especially with a good partner or a group of friends. The end of the south trail features a large bank that's just about perfect for a beach chair and skipping some stones, and even some frog-watching or swimming if the temperature is right.
The walk from the parking area to the trailhead can feel a bit confusing, as it winds through working argicultural property, but the views are beautiful - Keep following the gravel road until you spot the old barn, and eventually a sign describing the various wildlife that inhabits the area throughout the year.
