Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
This cache is placed in the woods just off the greenway. You can access the Greenway and park in the Mt. Airy Park and Ride ,off Carter St. This cache is in the shape of a birdhouse and painted in camoflage colors to hopefully blend in with it's surrounding,it also has a combination lock. You'll need to answer the trivia questions below to get the correct # combination to open the lock.
All answer are found in the Book of Genesis ,Chapter 1 and 2.
Starting from the top of the lock and going down.
1st Number: What day did GOD create the Sun, Moon and Stars?
2nd #: What day did GOD create and divide the Light and the Darkness?
3rd#: What day did GOD create the Seas, Dry Land, Grass, Seeds, Fruit Trees?
4th#: On what day did GOD rest from all HIS work?

Granite City Greenway System
The Granite City Greenway System is the most utilized Mount Airy Parks & Recreation outdoor recreation facility. The greenway incorporates 6.6 miles of connected greenway and is broken into 3 segments: The Emily B. Taylor Greenway Segment (Veterans Park to Worth Street), the Confluence Greenway Segment (Worth Street to Tharrington Park) and the Ararat River Greenway Segment (Tharrington Park to Riverside Park)

Emily B. Taylor Greenway Segment (Veterans Park to Worth Street)
Confluence Greenway Segment (Worth Street to Tharrington Park)
Ararat River Greenway Segment (Tharrington Park to Riverside Park)
Ararat River Greenway Extension (Riverside Park to Technology Lane)
The Greenway System borders:
- Lovill's Creek and the Ararat River
- Riverside Park, HB Rowe Environmental Park, Tharrington Park and Veterans Park
- Mount Airy Middle School, Tharrington Primary School and Mount Airy High School
- Several Businesses and Restaurants along the way
