Over 7,000 operations are recorded each year, and most of them are the result of local business activity, flight training, crop dusting, medivac, and recreation.

As a gateway to the fertile, agricultural-focused region the airport itself sits on approximately 532 acres, 459 of which are rented to local farmers.
