At least a couple times a week I love to go for a morning run or evening walk, and whenever I pass the bridge I am excited to pause for a moment and look at the wildlife.
Often you will see ducks and geese; especially later in summer when there is some exposed mud on the river's banks. If the sun is overhead you can see deep into the water and may spot a turtle or salmon if it is Fall. Once I even saw a troop of river otters swimming by.
I recommend walking or biking the trails on your way to this cache, but there can be a lot of bike traffic on the bridge so I recommend putting any bike or stroller off the path while you look around.
