Had a great day out here with two geomates....finding 6 geocaches that were published a month ago !
Such an AMAZINGLY beautiful area .... I was motivated to place two more caches.... There were so many places I could have chosen....but had to restrain myself .... will leave for others to place some more ..
We walked down from the Waitakere Dam Carpark on Scenic Drive ....But you could do the big loop, starting from the end of Falls Rd at the Cascade Kauri Car park.
Nice and easy to find.... Look at Ground Level ...Dam side of track...Step down a level.
A lovely ferny plant is your hint .
Tucked in behind a rock.
