We love the Fife Lake area but were surprised to discover this dirt road with almost no caches! So, when "Barney" became a popular Geocaching name we put Barney Fife together with Fife Lake and developed this new series for a walk (or drive) down memory lane of the old Andy Griffith Show. You will recognize most of the characters iconic names! By the way, Fife Lake was actually named after a surveyor named William Fife.!
