Maize Park Cemetery - The original five (5) acres was purchased for the sum of $1.00 and was established as the Maize Cemetery Company on April 22, 1887. The Charter and By-laws were filed with the Secretary of State on February 26, 1907 and became the Cemetery Association of Maize. On May 9, 1986, five (5) acres directly south of the original cemetery was purchased from Kathleen Weninger for the sum of $1.00.  The City of Maize assumed cemetery operations in July of 2009.

Maize Park Cemetery has expanded by opening a new 5-acre addition.  The new addition includes a granite columbarium for the storage of cremation urns.  A columbarium is an alternative to traditional cremation burials.
