https://www.futurechampionssportscomplex.com Is a major hub for youth baseball and softball in the midwest hosting tournaments for all ages. Our son has been playing travel baseball for the last 10 years and we've been to dozens of facilities across the midwest, but nothing has a more friendly feel than this complex. We've literally watched hundreds of baseball games as our son and nephews play high school games here on top of travel ball. We were at this complex to watch our niece smoke a homerun for her high school softball team. So many memories here.
The owner has given me permission to place a few caches on their property. All of the caches are near the parking lot so there is no reason to have to pay admission to enter the gates. Locals know the restaurant here at the south field has the best steaks in town so if you're coming from out of town to watch some baseball, avoid the chain restaurants, pull up to a table here and enjoy! "A newly renovated building in proximity to Field 6 now houses a restaurant, bar, arcade and gaming area." (From their homepage.) This complex has vastly improved the local economy, bringing in out of towners to hotels and local stores.
These caches are great for families in town looking for something to do in between games or just people passing through.
