We were in the general area here on the hidden date to work on a new earthcache and to turn a lonely green spot on our caching map into a happy smiley. We'd been past here a few times and wondered why there was no cache. A little bit of research showed that there used to be a cache nearby, but it got archived years ago.
We decided to reuse the spot. Hopefully you can stop and learn about the Mad River Valley and pick up a smiley of your own!
