This cache is a simple cache and dash on Hibbert Road on the opposite side of the railway to the station entrance,
Barrow-in-Furness Station and all of its train services are operated by Northern. It receives an roughly hourly service to Lancaster, some of which contunue to Manchester Picadilly and Manchester Airport; and similar to the north to Workington, Whitehaven and Carlisle. The station was opened as Barrow Pier on 24th August 1846 by the Furness Railway, and was renamed to Barrow Strand and Barrow Central before gaining its current name of Barrow-in-Furness in 1957.
