COSMIC CARPARK CLEAN-UP
Our friends from outer space need our help. They have become stranded in this carpark and need to clear all the space junk that has accumulated. This carpark near Kirrawee train station is one place that could do with some help.
They have sent the following message from outer space:
Hello, earthlings! We have come across a reference to “Geocaching.com” on a metal creature roving the planet Mars. It seems this ‘geocaching’ is an activity meant to further exploration and community. We would like to better understand this interesting human activity and we are traveling to Earth to learn more. We only hope we’ll have enough fuel in our spaceship to keep exploring!
Come along and lend a hand to clear up some rubbish. In doing so you will not only be doing some community service, but also help our alien friends refuel their spaceship so they can keep exploring.

If we successfully clean up, and they can refuel the spaceship, not only will we have the satisfaction of achieving a difficult goal as a community, all geocachers who took part will also earn a unique digital souvenir commemorating this visit from our intergalactic friends.
So come along to Kirrawee for a CITO in the carpark near Kirrawee Train Station.

We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
What is a CITO event?

Cache In Trash Out® events bring geocachers together to care for the geocaching game board: planet Earth. CITO events might focus on tree planting, litter pick up, or even habitat restoration. They’re a chance for geocachers to give back to their local spaces and communities.

We hope to see you there.
