גינה קהליתית כרכור Karkur Community Garden
הגינה הקהילתית בכרכור היתה פעם מטווח, עד היום אפשר לראות חלקים ישנים מהמטווח כמו קו היורים וקירות המגן הישנים שנועדו למנוע מקליעים לעוף מהמטווח. היום זאת גינה שהקימו השכנים והיא מלאה בעבודות אומנות קהילתיות, פינת ישיבה ומקום למדורה. אפשר גם למצוא צמחי תבלין ומאכל, עצי פרי ופרויקטים קהילתיים נוספים. פנינה יפה ששווה לבקר בה. במיוחד מעניין להרגיש שם מוקפים בטבע באמצע העיר כשנמצאים בפנים והמתחם של המטווח הישן מקיף אותך מכל הכיוונים.
צמוד לגינה אפשר למצוא את אגם החורף שבחורף הוא מתמלא ומגיעים אליו בעלי חיים שונים. הילדים של השכונה מגיעים לעיתים קרובות לשחק ומתרחשות במתחם מגוון פעילויות חינוכיות.
The community garden in Karkur used to be a shooting range. To this day, you can see old parts of the range, like the firing line and the old protective walls meant to prevent bullets from flying out of the range. Today, it's a garden established by the neighbors, filled with community art projects, a seating area, and a place for a bonfire. You can also find herb and edible plants, fruit trees, and other community projects. It's a beautiful gem worth visiting. It's particularly interesting to feel surrounded by nature in the middle of the city when inside the garden, with the old shooting range enclosing you from all directions.
Next to the garden, you can find the winter lake that fills up during the winter and attracts various wildlife. The neighborhood children often come to play, and a variety of educational activities take place in the area.
