This geocache is found in a woodland area at the location of an old quarry. The Bladon quarry was in use for hundreds of years and the stone was used in the construction of many notable local buildings, including Merton College in 1378. To find the cache, you'll need to set off from the trailhead indicated, where a small, partly overgrown path leads into the woodlands (it's very hilly because of the past quarry excavations).
Near GZ you'll find a canyon swing, which can be great fun for geocaching families (the wooden seat comes off and is usually placed next to the large tree - use at your own risk of course).
There's limited parking available in Bladon, but a nearby bus stop (S7 from Oxford/Woodstock/Witney)
