Geocache Description:

I've come to the Wollomonopoag Conservation Area many times, trying to find a multi-cache and posted a DNF.  The first stage was exclusive for me as it took me 2 or 3 visits to finally find the next set of coordinates.  But then at the 2nd stage, it is also exclusive for me as I couldn't find it after a lengthy search and posted a DNF.  After a while the cache was maintained, and I made the opportunity to come back with another Geocacher and we quickly found the 2nd stage.  We were happy to find the next set of coordinates which would be the final.  Upon arriving at the coordinates provided, we searched and searched for a good 40 minutes.  We had to call it quits and left the area.  A few days later, I sent a message to the CO, asking for help since it was recently maintained and showed the CO the photocopy of the 2nd stage coordinates, we took.  The reply I received was "Oops!".  The 2nd stage coordinates were mistakenly written down as one of these numbers was off by 1.  With this happy mistake, I received the corrected coordinates and made the final find later that day.

So, while I was searching for the cache at the mistaken coordinates, which is not far from this cache, I thought to myself ... "This is a great place to hide a cache; a view of the lake nearby, nice open hilly area (with many good options to hide a cache) and right near the trail!"  With nearly 3,000 finds, I thought it's time for me to make more hides and thought of this place for my first few hides.

The cache is small, please bring your own pen to sign the logbook.

Wollomonopoag Conservation Area is open from dawn to dusk.

This cache hide has permission from the Wrentham Land Use Department.

Congratulations to penpal and Jazzbaby for the FTF!
