Bjølsenveggen er en ca. 50.m lang murvegg med gatekunst i Stavangergata, inn mot Holmestrandgata, som ble ferdigstilt i august 2020. Den ligger ved siden av Nord-Europas største barnehage, «Margarinfabrikken».Prosjektet ble i igangsatt av beboere på Bjølsen borettslag, sammen med kurator Viktor Gjengaar av Foreningen for Urban Samtidskunst.
Kunsten er malt av lokalkunstner Mikael Noguchi, og motivet inkluderer både mennesker og fantasidyr som går langs gate. Kunsten består også av bakgrunnsmotiver fra nabolaget (blant annet Bjølsenparken, Bjølsenhallen, gamle Bjølsen gård, m.fl.). Prosjektet var støttet av blant annet Bydel Sagenes kulturstipend med full støtte fra bydelens kulturpolitikere. Man kan også bli med på en digital gåtur forbi veggen.
Veggen en visuell skildring av karakterene i området: en dekorativ «people-watching» som illustrasjon. Artisten innlemmet noen av de små verkene som prydet veggen fra før, i sine egne farger, skygger og skraveringer. Folk som kom innom ble malt inn: en crew-kompis og sin hund ("Grizzly"), gatekunstneren Eric Christiansen, artitistens datter og artisten selv.

"The Bjølsen Wall" is an approx. 50 m long cement wall with street art in Stavangergata, towards Holmestrandgata, which was completed in August 2020. It is located next to Northern Europe's largest pre-school, the "Margarine Factory". The project was initiated by residents of Bjølsen housing association, together with curator Viktor Gjengaar of the Association for Urban Contemporary Art.
The art is painted by local artist Mikael Noguchi, and the motif includes both people and fantasy animals walking along the street. The art also consists of background motifs from the neighborhood (including Bjølsen park, Bjølsen Hall, old Bjølsen farm, etc.). The project was supported by, among other things, Bydel Sagene's cultural grant with full support from the borough's politicians. You can also join a digital walk past the wall.
The wall a visual depiction of the characters in the area: a decorative "people-watching" as an illustration. The artist incorporated some of the small works that adorned the wall from before, in its own colors, shadows and shading. People who came by were painted in: a crew mate and his dog ("Grizzly"), the street artist Eric Christiansen, the artist's daughter and the artist himself.
