[TW24] Old Fisherman's Association Building 漁會正濱大樓

The building was founded in 1934 and was formerly known as "Aquatic Products Museum"; it also has aquatic products workshop, which was the base for the development of aquatic products experiment and the cultivation of high-level fishing crews for the late Japanese colonial government. The architectural form is a modernist style, emphasizing vertical and horizontal lines. The two-story reinforced concrete building has a circular-shaped plane and is surrounded by a cloister. This configuration has good lighting, ventilation and space use. The atrium was once a place for auctioning fish. The exterior wall decoration materials are mainly affixed with yellow-brown bricks with thirteen ditch faces. The bottom edge is stacked with washed stones and imitated stones to express the heavy feeling of the building, and the details are embellished with shapes or decorations that convey the image of the fishery industry, while the side walls are left There are traces of overlap with the scaffolding of the Keelung Fishing Market during the Japanese Occupation. It was announced as a historic building in Keelung City in 2003.
漁會正濱大樓創建於1934年,舊稱「水產館」,為日治末期/殖民政府發展水產試驗及培育高階漁船船員的基地。 建築形式為現代主義式樣,強調垂直、水平線條,二層樓鋼筋混凝土造建築,呈回字形平面,四周配置迴廊,此配置具良好採光、通風及空間使用性,中庭曾為拍賣漁獲之場所,外牆飾材以貼附黃褐色之十三溝面磚為主,下緣以洗石子仿石塊疊砌表現建築之厚重感,並在細部點綴傳達漁業產業意象的造型或裝飾,而側牆留有與日治時期基隆漁市場棚架搭接之遺痕。於2003年1月20日受公告為基隆市歷史建築。
