Please obey the posted caution signs and maintain a safe distance from the water edge. Please be attentive if you have small children with you as alligators may be present in the pond, which connects to Lake Apopka.
No "public parking" access, but you can pull your car into the open field - people frequently fish here. You can also approach by bike or foot. There is convenient trail access across the road. It is also golf cart accessible.
***IMPORTANT - WHEN RESETTING THE CACHE***
The two rings are intentially set - DO NOT UNTIE THESE. The last ring prevents the cache from coming lose. The second ring is used to reset to it's original position. Hook the second ring into it's original position as found and tie a simple knot to secure it.
