2nd September - Odd Jobs around Horsbere
The session is set for 3 hours, but only me and the ranger have to stay till the end!
Please do feel free to pop along and only stay for as long as you want.
Parking: Suggested parking is in the car park at the provided coords, there is a footbridge to take you over to Horsbere. Or if there is space you can park by the gates leading in to the brook (parking area and meeting point).
Where: Meet by the main gate at 0930 or if you are coming a bit later send me a message in the app and I can let you know where we will be.
What: Well we will be doing lots of different odd jobs in September and it all depends on how well we did in the previous sessions. The odd jobs could be anything from moving mulch, painting benches, raking cut grass, fencing and tree care.
I will post out an announcement the day before the event confirming what we will be doing and anything you may need to bring with you, so please do log your 'will attend' to make sure you see any updates.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance. We ask you to bring your own gloves and the ranger will supply the rest!
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Please do bring a drink as it can be thirsty work!
