14th September - Mulching Mayhem at Horsbere
The session is set for 3 hours, but only me and the ranger have to stay till the end!
Please do feel free to pop along and only stay for as long as you want.
Parking: Suggested parking is in the car park at the provided coords, there is a footbridge to take you over to Horsbere. Or if there is space you can park by the gates leading in to the brook (parking area and meeting point).
Where: Meet by the main gate at 1000, see the meeting point waypoint or find us at the headline coords where there will be a big pile of mulch!
What: We are moving mulch from the main gate (headline coordinates) around the reserve, this will definitely be a day you get your steps in!
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance. We ask you to bring your own gloves and if you have a wheelbarrow you will be our hero!
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Please do bring a drink as it can be thirsty work!
