Welcome to the September ACM&G. Event will be from 12:00pm until 2:00pm. Rain or shine, the event will go on. There is a really nice pavillion here with parking nearby for about 6-8 vehicles. There is also an outhouse close by.
This is the 2nd installment of the Hotdogs and Hoodies event. We will be back at the Upper Grand River Metropark. If you attended last year, we provided the hotdogs, buns, condiments, plates, cutlery and even a dessert. Feel free to bring something to share. It is not a requirement to attend.
As noted from last year, since this is an outdoor event, you may want to bring along a hoodie. If you`re planning on attending, be sure to log a will attend so we can make sure to have enough food and such.
Nearby, there are a few traditional caches here in the park. There is also a very nice series of paddle caches located very close on the Grand River. Why not start the series, stop by for lunch, and then continue on downstream and finish the series?
