In February 2008, after discovering the hard way that map-and-compass letterboxing doesn't work well in thick fog, HTFS invested in a basic GPS until and then, while Googling for the instructions, discovered geocaching. A swift lunchtime find in the park behind the office ensued, and became the first of many.
