A cache in the LEH Baigent Memorial Reserve. Do make sure you obey the "one way" traffic signs, you might have the feeling you're the only person here but the chance of seeing another vehicle is surprisingly high.
The sign on the gate says it is locked between sunset and sunrise but I must say it doesn't look as though it has moved for a while. The road goes through the reserve to private properties beyond.
Access to the beach in the inlet makes this a great place to swim and kayak - - when the tide is in. The outer beach is great for walks, swims, fishing. It's also a great place to exercise the dog but do make sure to keep dogs on a leash or under your control as blue penguins are known to nest in the area.
The waypoint for the start of a track is given. There are several tracks from the road to the beach but this one takes you closest to the tip of the peninsula. You'll still have some beach-walking to do to get to the end but the cache is hidden before the beach walk begins.
