This makes number 5 of my popular artists geocaching series, where I dedicate a cache to as you can guess... popular artists (I know, very creative name)! Anyways I've heard of Melanie for a long time but never really listened to her until 1-2 months ago and I've loved nearly every song. While solving this cache, you are encouraged to listen to some of her songs and maybe you will find out that you like her music too!

Melanie Martinez is an American singer and songwriter that has a very distinct style that blends pop with a sort of dark/twisted nature. Many of her songs and even albums involve childhood, identity, and personal struggles. Her most popular songs are from the Cry Baby album such as Play Date, and Dollhouse. Me personally, my favorite Melanie Martinez song would have to EVIL or THE CONTORTIONIST from the PORTALS album but honestly all her songs I love.
