25 in 2025
(Upper Wolf)

2025 will mark the 25th Anniversary of Geocaching. As part of the 25th Anniversary Celebration, GCHQ will be distributing credits to host a Community Celebration Event (CCE). One of the requirements to obtain a credit is to host an event in 2024, which shouldn't be an issue for the IE Cachers. Another requirement is to place a cache in 2024, so here's our 8th. Who knows there might be more!

To obtain the final coordinates for the cache, you will need to locate the trail sign near the posted coordinates.

The final container is located at:
North 48° 11.ABC
West 117° 03.XYZ

A = # of letters in trail 0.7 km -2
B = 2nd digit in the Howler Trail
C = # of trails engraved on wooden sign

X = # of letters 1st word in trail 0.5 km
Y = # of letters in trail 1.2 km -2
Z = # of letters in trail 0.6 km
