[DE] Der tiefblaue und glasklare Kompfoss See liegt eingebettet in einer Mulde westlich der Kompfossspitze, etwas unterhalb der gleichnamigen Scharte. Er ist noch ein richtiges Naturjuwel hoch in den Pfunderer Bergen oberhalb der Ortschaft Terenten.
Man erreicht den See entweder von der Engl-Alm oder der Moser-Alm, aber auch von der Tiefrastenhütte ist der Zugang möglich.
Der Cache liegt auf einer Anhöhe südlich des Sees.
[IT] Il lago Kompfoss, di un blu profondo e cristallino, è incastonato in una conca a ovest della Cima Kompfoss, appena sotto l'omonima forcella. È ancora un vero gioiello naturale, situato in alto nelle montagne di Fundres, sopra il paese di Terento.
Si può raggiungere il lago dalla malga Engl o dalla malga Moser, ma è possibile anche accedere dalla Tiefrastenhütte.
Il cache si trova su una collina a sud del lago.
[EN] The deep blue and crystal-clear Kompfoss Lake is nestled in a hollow west of the Kompfoss Peak, just below the namesake saddle. It is still a true natural gem high in the Pfunderer Mountains above the village of Terenten.
The lake can be reached either from the Engl Alm or the Moser Alm, but access is also possible from the Tiefrasten Hut.
The cache is located on a hill south of the lake.
