
What is it?
A Mega is a geocaching event attended by more than 500 people. Since 2008, the UK Mega has been an annual roving event to showcase different areas of the UK. It is regularly attended by up to 2000 people and has become a fixture in the calendar of many geocachers, both from the UK and abroad. In 2025 it will return to South West England, to the area surrounding the Severn estuary.
On the day of the Mega Event there will be trade stands, refreshments, entertainment and some special Adventure Labs, plus the chance to meet old friends and make new ones.
When is it?
The Mega Event will be on Saturday 2nd August 2025 from 10:00 to 16:00
Camping and Side Events will run all week from 28th July to 3rd August 2025

Woodhouse Park Activity Centre occupies 36 acres (14 hectares) of land on the west side of the A38, to the north of Bristol, UK. The centre is enclosed by woodland with views extending over the two Severn bridges. Easily accessible from the M4 and M5, the centre offers the ideal location and facilities for an adventurous outdoor experience.
Mega Day entry £8 on the door.
Parking on Mega Day is free. Those attending evening events during the week will need to have purchased parking tickets at £8.00 for the week. Tickets can be purchased anytime from campsite reception in the large white marquee near the climbing tower. (See waypoint) Please do not go to the Activity Centre Office near the main entrance.

By Rail and Bus
From Bristol Temple Meads Station, catch a bus from Temple Meads to the Centre(C2).
Then catch the T1 bus to Fernhill. The bus stops right outside Woodhouse Park.
