A small Metal Canister tethered to a fence post behind a Power pole is where this cache can be found; its in South Otago heading inland from the Owaka township towards Clinton at a sharp corner but you are encouraged to navigate it at 35kms. There is room to pull up behind the wooden barrier. Obvious safety precautions need to be adhered to.
Largely cattle and sheep farming in this area and easy access to a great DOC camping ground at Tawanui over the hill, lots of lambs about already!! This road is tarsealed except for a short part and there are also multiple gravel roads leading off this main road. Own pen required
