A tip from me: you can go to the Night of Ancient Bonfires in Daugavgrīva after the event, either by taking a bus / a car / riding your bicycle. At 20:00 there will be a concert of the folklore group "Iļģi" there, they are also closely related to Dzegužkalns and Iļģuciems and are the headliners of every Midsummer celebration in the park.
