Dovercourt War Memorial comprises a three stepped base, surmounted by a plinth, shaft and wheel cross, all in rough hewn stone. There are inscriptions in lead lettering on all four sides of the plinth. The memorial is protected by a low link chain held in place by four stone posts that match the war memorial.
