Please join us in Melin Mynydd Park, Gorseinon on Monday 16th September at 2pm - 3pm.
We'll be near the red car, at the coordinates, wearing high-viz vests during that time. You can't miss us.
The closest parking is either at the coordinates, in a small off-road area, or just across the road from the coordinates in a layby.
We aim to be doing some litter picking in the park. There are wooded areas, open grassland and flat, tarmacked paths. So it should be suitable terrain for all levels of mobility.
Litter pickers and bags will be provided, courtesy of "Keep Wales Tidy".
As you'll be near litter, please avoid wearing open-toed shoes/sandals. And, if you have any gardening gloves, please bring them along to use too.
Attending this CITO will qualify you for receiving the "Cache In Trash Out®, Season 2 2024" digital caching souvenir, if you haven't got it already.
If you'd like to come along, but haven't been to an event before, or don't know what to expect at a CITO, please send us a message. We'll ensure that you don't get left out.
Also, although the CITO lasts an hour, that's the length of time that we (the organisers) have to be there. Please feel free to drop in for as long as you want during that time. This is geocaching after all, we get to play it the way that suits us. Oh, and expect a bit of a geochat at the end if the weather doesn't drive us away. (Plus possibly some biscuits if you're good.)
