Come join us to remove some invasive plants from the beautiful, forested trails near Soldiers Creek and the Environmental Center at Spring Hammock!
Elizabeth Stephens, the coordinator for the Seminole Education, Restoration & Volunteer Program will lead our group in identifying and removing invasive plant species from the area as well as teach us about the threat invasives pose to our natural lands.
Seminole County will supply tools and bags. Bring your own gardening gloves. (That way no one has to wear someone else’s sweaty gloves, or gloves that are too small or too large.) Closed-toed shoes are required (no flip-flops or sandals please); long pants, gardening gloves, sun protection, and water to drink are recommended.
