CITO season 2 for 2024 will run from 1st September until 30th November
This will be our fourth CITO along this stretch of the Normanton by-pass however we are moving towards the other end for a change
Previous events made a massive difference to the area at the time. Hopefully we will have a similar impact here too
We are asking you to come along and join us as we clean up the area. It’s actually good fun, there's time to chat and catch up with friends and swap stories of geo-adventures you've had and you’ll be awarded a souvenir, automatically, on your profile page once you have logged your attendance for this event. As with our previous CITOs we will bring along cold drinks and cakes / donuts to help keep those energy levels up.
Litter pickers, hand sanitiser, and bin bags will be provided. Please bring your own litter pickers and hi-viz vests if you have themWe would strongly recommend you wear thick gloves, gardenning gloves are ideal. Also appropriate clothing and footwear.
There's plenty of parking spaces available at the given location, we just ask that you park with consideration for others.
We look forward to your support and hope see you there. Children are welcome to take part but should be supervised by a responsible adult AT ALL TIMES. A risk assessment will take place, however everyone takes part at their own risk.
