🪆I've always loved the nesting dolls that are part of some people's holiday decorations! 🪆 That concept gave me the idea for this cache container and cache.  While supplies last, a nesting doll keychain is in the container for finders as a gift. Room for other swag in the container. A nesting gift (see the photo) for the F2F! Update: the original container has been muggled as well as the remaining nesting dolls (although the log book was left on the picnic table). I have replaced with a smaller container bigger than an apple but not a regular sized ammo can any longer! :( The hint has been updated. Try to rehide well and maybe it'll not be muggled again.Â
This  geocache is located off the trail in Potato Hill Civil War Battlefield located in Dalton, GA.  The street address is 2261 Reed Rd. Apparently some GPSs might take you to a trailer park. The park is not in a trailer park and neither is the cache!  This little park is open dawn to dusk. The trail is to the right of the covered picnic table, so bring a picnic!   Follow the trail up a bit until you see a downed tree, at this point the trail makes a turn to the left and continues on. This is where you need to begin your search!Â
After you make the find and if you're physically able, follow the trail to the top to see the artillery position and the hand dug trenches/earthworks (the trail gets steeper but there are switchbacks)! 🥾
**Permission to place the cache was given by Robert Jenkins with the Civil War Committee of Whitfield County.**
