(RIP) Vegan Beef Jerky Cache*

When I checked on this cache in March of 2025, I discovered that the original hide location, a broken tree, had been torn apart by searchers. The container was nowhere to be found.
Since the Vegan Beef Jerky tree had been reduced to pieces, I chose to set up a replacement cache nearby. The new container rests on a shard of the VBJ tree thus making it the spiritual successor to the original.
May this newly christened cache become a shine to the memory of St. Vegan the Lost and a place of pilgrimage for the geocaches of the Nashoba Valley!
*The original cache is hidden in a broken tree that looked a bit like strips of beef jerky to me. The tree was not meat hence "vegan."
