TXGA’s CITO Across Texas - Dripping Springs
Charro Ranch Park
Hey cachers – do you want to be part of something as big as the State of Texas that promotes geocaching and gives back to our local communities? Well, mark your calendars and signup for one of the TXGA CITO Across Texas event(s).
World Cleanup Day is held annually on the Third Saturday in September, volunteers in 180 countries will stand up against the global trash problem and clean up waste, making it the biggest positive civic action the world has seen. This year, TXGA has decided to throw our cowboy hats and GPS devices in the ring and join the efforts.
On Saturday, September 21st at 9am geocachers, friends and family will meet at CITO Events that are scheduled across the Texas to pickup trash and help keep our game board clean. This is the location for the primary event - see the list below for other locations.
This event will be hosted at Charro Ranch Park and your host will be TXGeekette.
Don't see a location near you and want to help? You can be part of the fun and host an event in your area. Send an email to BEVikingTex@gmail.com and we can work wth you to create a "satellite event" in your area.
Our goal is to make this the biggest CITO event in Geocaching history - help us achieve that goal!
